| Definitely one of the strongest areas we've had for many years in my opinion but which 2 on current form - not how many trophies they've won in the past, how many tries they've scored in their career etc, CURRENT FORM !
For me i'd have to go for Jerry McGillvary who is ripping it up, and Joe Burgess.
Fairly unproven and definitely not what the Kiwi's would expect, joint top try scorers, top 2 tackle busters, top 2 for clean breaks !!
Who's your choice ?

| Hall number one by a distance.I would go Burgess but Briscoe and Makinson wouldn't be far away either.
Hudds. Fans talking up Mcgillvary obviously, and he has proved to be a good club winger scoring plenty of tries but I'm not so sure i can see him making the step up so easily against the big 2.Charnley is a case in point, prolific for Wigan but looks average at best when put up against the big boys.Guess we may see in a couple of months, Mac may pick him as i agree his form is very good.

| I like the ON CURRENT FORM is nice and bold in the hope that a player from the OP's club will be picked.
Form is only a factor in international selection. Form is temporary, class is permanent. Experience counts for a lot as do other factors such as influence in the dressing room and performances in past internationals.
For me Ryan Hall has to be picked, he may not (by his own very high standards) of had his best season but past international performance guarantees selection.
That leaves the other side. I'd pick Burgess. I think he is class and will kick on to be one of the worlds best. He has a proper rugby brain and has the knack of being in the right place at the right time. I understand the arguments to go for an all Leeds back 3 with the understanding they have. Briscoe would be in my squad.
McGillvary is on top form but IMO not quite in the class of Hall, Burgess and Briscoe.

| On current form, Charnley is behind Manfredi at Wigan, never mind England.
Hall & Burgess IMO.

| Even though his weekly round form has been as fair to middling as ever Hall is a nailed on certainty and rightfully so because he's the ultimate big game player.
The second spot must go to Burgess who's been the best winger in the comp ever since round 5ish (after a shaky start) and looks special.
That will leave a spot for a back up winger and I'd go with McGillvary. He's been quality these past few months and his physical presence will be a weapon. It's that physical presence that would always make me wary of picking Briscoe who's been easily negated against the Aussies and Kiwis in the past.
Other then those 4 you could make cases for Makinson, Manfredi, Charnley, Lineham and even Justin Carney. A strange position to be in after having Gardner and Calderwood on the wings not long back!!

| McGillvery has moved up the pecking order (and Charnley well down) but he still doesn't make it over Hall, Briscoe and Burgess.
Hall's not scoring many but he isn't get loads of chances. We use him as an extra forward mostly in our own half and he gets very little ball in the opposition half nowadays. Other wingers wouldn't have scored 20/25 plus tries either if they'd have spent the year playing on Leeds left wing. We're scoring plenty of tries but they aren't 'create the overlap and let the winger squeeze in' tries.

| I'd run with Briscoe and Hall, especially if we're having Hardaker at full back. They all know each others games inside out and that could help us on receiving kicks and getting a good roll on going forward.

| Burgess has been sensational for 2 years now and with Hall should be England's starting winger.
Having Briscoe, McGilvary, Makinson, Lineham and Charnley in reserve shows we're getting some quality depth in this department.

| We have 4 good wingers in Hall, Burgess, Briscoe and McGilvary. Shame we don't have a 2nd decent centre to go with Kallum Watkins.

Reed has been good in a top of the table Broncos side.Sarginson did excellent last years 4 nations but hasn't really kicked on this season but has proved he can cut it at the top.Shenton has had a top year and Percival is not far away now.I wouldn't we were looking too bad at all throughout the threequarters and for once we have genuine competition.
