I admire what the Class of '92 are trying to achieve with Salford, it's an untapped gold mine but needed people with the financial clout of those men to make it work. Salford is a massive footballing city, the vast majority of residents are huge Manchester United supporters and as soon as they begin to climb up the ladder they'll attract more and more fans.

I have always felt both clubs should work more closely with each other and particularly now Salford City have got the Class of '92 on board it makes even more sense. I'm not sure joint season tickets is the answer, but promotion at each others games and a more joined up approach would benefit both clubs.

It's not just Class of 92 who own Salford City. Peter Lim owns 50% of Salford City, he's a very wealthy man.

The NW is saturated with football teams. No need for another one.

Peter Lim's also investing in Valencia, I imagine this is very much a side, side, side project just to gain a bit of publicity. Also, don't forget they've a long way to go.
