Brillaint, hopefully this will mean some decent viewing figures and maybe some decent commentary.

You'd think so, but a lot of people I've seen are complaining saying they don't want to have to listen to Dave Woods and spouting the usual request "we want Andrew Voss".

Excellent news. Hopefully given the Beeb will have very little other live sport in its schedules by that time of the year they can promote and trail the games adequately.

The beeb's coverage of RL keeps getting better each year, the camera work isn't always great, but the commentators and pundits are generally very good (apart from Crabtree).

If the games match the last two tests between these two it will be the perfect showcase for RL, especially to people who might have watched international Union recently. Good it's going to reach millions of people.

Great news.Has the potential to be a fantastic series so the fact it is available to the whole nation to see it can only be a good thing for the sport.

International TV rights have been with the BBC for years and are with them for years to come, I think until after the 2017 World Cup. In fact I can't even remember the last international match televised by Sky OP so I'm not sure why this was a surprise to you.

I'm very happy to see RL on the Beeb rather than Sky, but I honestly can't enthuse *that* much about the coverage. Yeah, it's better than Sky, but that's not saying much, is it? Frankly I still miss Clare Balding. I don't think 'Chappers' is anywhere near as good. And couldn't they pension off Nobby for good? He never has anything interesting to say. And yeah, Crabtree is awful.

Is that true? I'm not saying it's not but I don't remember any announcements.



it's not a surprise to me at all but it'll be a surprise to one or two posters on here who were shouting from the rooftops last year that we were never going to see International RL on the Beeb ever again due to those nasty people at Sky, who of course never show any Super League, Challenge Cup or International RL.

Nothing to do with the test series but just wanna comment about the beebs overall game day coverage. It's top notch for me, very professional. They've taken over Sky by a distance in this respect. Yet they show no interest, nor show any respect to our game apparently.....
