Richard Beaumont retired at the end of last season. He then reversed that decision and signed for Leigh. Then I think he went missing and I don't think they ever looked for him to be honest, so he's definitely not still at Saints.

Mitch Allgood isn't off contract in 2015, He's signed until 2017.

My understanding is he did go AWOL soon after we signed him, but Leigh did try to contact him for pre-season etc, but due to personal issues he needed time and space.

He returned to Leigh in March, and subsequently went initially back to Rochdale on loan, and is now out on loan at Whitehaven.

Leigh are currently having to play with one hooker for 80 mins, due to a Penky’s injury needing an op and although Beswick is doing a great job, he wont sustain that all season especially when we get into the 8’s. Our only other option is a youngster Foster who’s not quite physically ready for the step up.

So if 50k plus Higham’s wages gets us into SL then it’s great business IMO.

Gavin Bennion and Danny Bridge no longer play for Warrington, and I believe Joe Philbin is off contract at the end of the season as well.

The Chapelhow brothers for Widnes are contracted for the next 2 years so you can remove them, Chamberlain is also tied down for another 3 years.
