Any followers of the French league on here have a link to a fixture list?
Over there for the Hull KR game later this month, and would be great to combine with some Elite 1 games if they're on - must be getting towards the play offs now

I have never understood why Dave Foti doesn't run day trips from Perpignan, surely most RL fans would want to watch an Elite 1 game whilst over there if given the chance.

I am surprised at the poor response to this thread. Bronco- you may be better off visiting Total RL. There are a few ex pats and genuine Frenchmen on there, who are very knowledgable.

The French league is now into its (rather convoluted) play off series for Elite I and Elite II. I note Hull KR are over there the weekend of 25/26 April.
Elite I has a semi-final double header on the Saturday at Toulouse (same day as Dragons-Hull KR, so probably not feasible), whilst Elite II will be a week behind and playing qualifying semis at the home grounds of the highest placed clubs - Carpentras or Toulouse, and St Gaudens or Realmont. One of these at least should be on the Sunday.

It's a shame because I think the Elite 1 semi-finals matches will clash with your Catalans vs Hull KR match, so you won't be able to watch them. Both will be held in Toulouse, the matches will be 1) St Esteve vs Carcassonne/Avignon winner and 2) Toulouse vs Lezignan/Limoux winner.
There are two quarter final matches of the Elite 2 being played on that weekend, I believe at least one of which will be played on the Sunday.
As someone mentioned earlier, their playoff system is VERY complicated, but it's looking like those two matches will be: 1) Baho XIII vs Toulouse Bronocos and 2) Villefranche vs Realmont XIII |
