Seen a few pics. Anyone who was there expand on it? these seem to be creeping into our game, there was one at our game against Salford earlier in the season. So i'm not trying to have a go at Wire or Widnes fans

One went off in the Widnes end at kick off, then after the Westwood try someone in the Away end launched one onto the field, just as O'Brien was about to convert. The stewards put a bucket over it, after speaking to the Stewards Mr Hicks ordered the players off the field.
There were also a few bottles launched at the pitch, with Ryan Atkins taking exception towards the end of the game. Totally embarrassing, however at least most people in our stand expressed their disgust and pointed out the idiots.
Mr Hicks and the ground staff handled it very well.

Well done to the ref on taking the players off. The best way to handle such incidents in my opinion. Other than stringing up the idiots between the posts and having a kicking competition.
