I think this Leigh team would have been competitive had they been promoted to Super League at the end of last season. I think they will certainly show up well in the middle eights.

The new structure badly needs Leigh and Bradford to step up to the plate and put on a good show in the Super8's, early signs are good though, both clubs seem completely reinvigorated.

You do realise that even in the far fetched scenario that Wigan end up in the middle 8, that they would play Leigh once in the league?
They could meet in the "Million pound match" but that wouldn't get them 2 points like you brag about in terms of taking 4 points off them.

Is Leigh a town? Yes.
Does this town have a Rugby team? Yes
Then they have just as much as right to play the game at the level they're good enough to play at.
I'm not sure why you find this objectionable. |
