For all the bluster Salford look very ordinary. You can excuse a lack of attacking fluency at this stage of the season, but in defence they shouldn't be getting cut open as easily or as often as this. Saints do look pretty slick though tbf.

Not sure how anyone could form the opinion that Kevin Locke is better than Tomkins.

Saints haven't played well so far bar a few nice touches. A lot of silly errors and gifting possession in their own half. God knows what will happen if they get more play the balls in the opposition half!

While I rate Tomkins more than Locke, Locke is clearly crocked. Know idea why they are keeping him out there, just making the injury worse.

Salford look terrible. Their structures in defense and attack are all over the place and they have absolutely nothing out of dummy half.
