| Just seen that the 2nd test is likely to be played at the Olympic Stadium on Nov 7th.
That's a week after the RUWC 3/4 place play off is held at the same venue.
If true then that's good work by the RFL, isn't it?

| Where did you see this?
If true then I would say well done and I never thought I would say that to the rfl! Olympic stadium is about the right size for a test, could actually fill 50,000 seats with the right marketing but we were never gonna get close to filling Wembley.

League Express, which the gomper above knew but who pretended otherwise to make it look like he knew already.
No reason why it shouldn't be a sell out or close to one really and it'll be nice to go somewhere different down there.

An exclusive afterthought which is almost two months late, surely?
Thankfully, just in time to make the numerous Sporting Calendar issues of 2015.
Oh, hang on...

The questions everyone ought to be asking is...
Why isn't the national media breaking this news instead?
Why is it only an inconsequential little moonie publication which only preaches to the converted?
Is a Brighouse publication the extent of the RFL's media reach these days?
No wonder the sport is in deep trouble then.

No, the questions everyone should be asking are...
When do tickets go on sale?
Can we get revenge for the WC?
It's not in the national press as it's not been announced yet, i'm sure it will be soon enough.
BTW, the sport isn't in deep trouble. Just because you want to think is, doesn't make it true.

If the rfl had any sense they would do a deal with union and do some sort of discount on tickets for people who go to the 3/4 place ruwc game, might entice some new fans in from London if they had an excuse to go, expansion into London is what rfl want isn't it?
-wait I just realised I said rfl and sense in the same sentence, sorry everyone for that gaff! Hahaha

Quite right.
It's not like viewing figures are down
Attendances are down
participation is down
media interest is dwindling
we've signed a TV deal that was uber cheap
the top flight clubs in England are all along one road
There hasn't been a top tier international game in England for 400 days....
...it will be another 300 days or so until one is
the top division has been cut by 2 teams because of lack of finance
the top division has been cut by 2 teams due to lack of talent
The top tier is sponsored on a pay as you go basis...get utility switching!!!!
....thank god the game is in such rude health

Wow, you never cease to amaze. You claim not to be trolling and then come out with guff like that.
Same crap, different thread = Troll
PS. You forgot to mention....
Record breaking world cup
Record breaking 4N
Record breaking TV deal
New League sponsors
New CC sponsors (Ladbrokes) to be announced this week
There were no top tier internationals here last year as the 4N was held down under... and broke records.
Very similar to the last few decades really with internationals split between the Northern and Southern hemispheres every year or so

Same crap, different thread
World cup momentum lost
4 nations ignored by press
Tv deal far too cheap
Sponsors of entire comp pay bases on utilities switched
Ladbrokes on same style deal as first utilities...very little cash up front
700 days between home internationals......
Healthy? Methinx not

| The First Test should be at Wembley because the BBC advertising combined with vigorous RFL advertising should enable a crowd of 60,000 people if the tickets are sold at the right price.
The second Test should be at the Olympic Stadium, to get people from East London more involved in the game ...again it needs the pricing to be right.
The Third Test should be at Old Trafford or Etihad, because the impoverished M62 dwellers are entitled to see at least one Test within a train ride of home, after a full season of not having travel anywhere other than to London (for the first two Tests) or to the Papua-New Guinea colony at Newcastle on Tyne for the Magical Mystery Tour weekend.
