I may be completely wrong and there maybe stats to prove it but from what I have seen watching the NRL compared to SL is the amount of penalties we give away here in the SL for holding down the opposition for too long...

It just seems to happen an awful lot over here compared to the NRL or atleast from the games I watch.

Anyone else think the same?

When an attacker is on the floor and [ihas been tackled [/iby a defender, a second defender flopping on top of his team mate should always be penalised.

It goes much deeper than that. The NRL is far more competitive, the games much better in the main contested, by more equally matched teams in the main.
The skill factor is of a higher quality and generally the game is so much more quicker, pace wise.

I dropped the S/L and watched the NRL this past season, for the above reasons. previously I have taken both, Sky and P/sports coverage, but I decided that the second( sometimes third )rate S/L had become too poor when compared with the NRL so I made the decision to watch one,that with more quality included and did not regret it one iota.

Especially so when I took the trouble to watch the BBCs Super League show

Sooper Dooper League is broadcast on Sky in SkyHD and occasionally in Sky3D.

The NRL is broadcast on Premier Sports in slower than a dodgy internet feed appalling definition which make the pictures from the first moon landings in the late 60's appear crystal clear in comparison.

Sooper Dooper League by plenty.

Down here in the MODERN WORLD, I get wall to wall NRL and all the 4 Nations games on my TV, Smart TV, Tablet, computer and Mobile device in crystal clear HD and in real time. In addition, I get 2 or more SL games shown to me with commentary in Maori (far more understandable than Stevo and wiggy's ramblings) on MAORI TV on delay each week. A further advantage is that nobody shows the wendy-ballers of the UK "kicking it in the net"....instead, we get another lot running with an odd shaped ball, all be it a bit slower than the league, but better than diving nancy-boy-ballers all the same!

I have no idea what a "Premier Sports" is......is it some form of steam punk TV?

Nrl is no better than SL at the top end
Bottom end is probably better a bit

NRL is mired by spoiling , offsides and complaining players
Super league is far more entertainment

Watchng nrl at moment is like watching wwe.
