实事求是!: |

| People kick off with some of the sky commentary team (eddeh and stevo) and sometimes justifiably so.
But I think Clarke is good to have around just for the comedy value of his crazy predictions.
Tips salford to make old trafford, half way through the season they are near the bottom of the table.
Tips wakefield to beat castleford. They are systematically destroyed and have 50 points put on them.
Anymore?
I can't wait until the next time he says the words ''I THINK eddeh, that.........'' because you know THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what he predicts will happen.

| Think he's getting a bit too carried away with the Cas performance and thinking that on THIS SHOWING they can get to Old Trafford.
Yes they are playing well, but consider the opposition. Smashing Wakefield is one thing, beating 3 of the following four (Leeds, Wigan, Saints, Hudds) in consecutive weeks at the end of a long year is a different prospect.
That's not to say Cas aren't going great this year, they really are enjoyable to watch, just Clarke is ridiculous with his comments. Note when talking about Carney he couldn't help but start talking about a "former Wigan great."

Stevo's bald dome.

| Seeing as you mention hilarious predictions, do you ever read Ian Milwards column on sportinglife.com? I'm convinced the bloke doesn't have a clue as almost every prediction he makes (other than the real obvious ones) is incorrect. I'm actually entertaining the idea of an accumulator made up from the opposit of what he says.

| I'm not suggesting Millward is bitter but every week he predicts Cas to get beat. This week he conceded Cas would probably win but fancied Wakey to beat the spread (10-12 pts start). Wrong again Ian...

| I'd be very surprised if Phil Clarke actually thought Salford would win SL this year, or if he thought Wakey would beat Cas, or London would win at St Helens. Pinch of salt, people.

A few years ago when under Kear Wakey were quite good and Cas were not, he'd predict a defeat for Wakey every week including v Cas.
Millward has never had anything to do with us so it can't be personal. Maybe your missing the obvious that the guy is an utter fool who landed it lucky at Leigh and Saints.

To be fair Wakey should be competing with Cas and after two away wins against yourselves and Hull to most it would have seemed a very reasonable prediction - you are clearly gifted with hindsight
However most Trinity fans knew exactly what was going to happen, though the severity was not expected. As SKY have only shown us once this year then he won't have seen us in the flesh.
The Salford prediction beggars belief.
