How on earth can Saints vs London be the next serving on prime time Thursday night live for SKY??

This following the complete non event featuring the Broncos at Leeds earlier in the season.surely if London were to get anymore airtime this year it would be against another basement team in something resembling a contest.Crazy.

I agree, it just seems daft.
IIRC each club is guaranteed 2 home games shown on Sky.
I was expecting those 2 home games, preferably against weak opposition, plus the Magic Weekend game to be it this year for London on TV. I was amazed when the Leeds v London game was scheduled for TV.

It just doesn't make any sense.

Waste of time. They may as well only show one game.

Or just swap it to Hudds v Cas which should be a great game.

I don't mind watching any two teams play each other to be honest. Though I don't have anything against Saints, I for one will tune in hoping for an upset (very unlikely but still possible if Saints don't show up after a tough CC encounter). Remember, London almost turned Catalan over. Anything can happen in 80 minutes. Also I'd rather watch them play against one of the best than watch them against a team who will beat them but not play exciting rugby.
Maybe Saints will try show off some of there younger talent. Whatever will be, I think it's a good choice for a sky game.

Have you seen how poor London are this year? they have virtually zero chance of even competing at Saints no matter who they put out on the night, keeping the score under 50 will be a great result for the Broncos.My point is not having a go at SKY for showing London, as i realise they have to show each team a couple of times.But why put them on away at two of the elite teams in the space of a few weeks? it makes no sense at all.I pay for the full sports package mainly for the RL and feel disappointed fixtures like this are being served up. I will watch almost any RL i can but will be giving this a wide berth.

At least they never showed today match at the Jungle

It would have been hugely detrimental to our great game if Cas had stuck 40 points on the perennial whipping boys from Cheshire, on live TV

In regards to the post. The farce isn't about sky showing this game. It's fair they have to show games. The farce is that London are in super league in the first place and it's come to this. No disrespect to the club, and well played to there fans for sticking with them but they are an embarrassment to the top tier of English Rugby league.
It just hasn't worked. Hopefully one day it will. It would be brilliant for our sport.

I appreciate every team needs showing x amount of times, show London v Bradford London v Wakefield . don't show teams at the top at home to London.

Maybe they don't want to show an embarrassing crowd. Leeds and Saints will take fans.
Anyway.. I will always tune in when I can to watch any game, regardless of which teams are playing because I enjoy it. I'm sure we'll see worse games this season. Let's face it Warrington taking on Wigan was absolute dire earlier this season with the talent they both have.
Have faith that there could be some excitement in this game. Even if London are still in it after 40 minutes it'll be better than the showing us Giants unexpectedly gave against Catalans and Hull on Sky.

Can't imagine many Saints fans would want to go down there on a Thursday to watch a training session - and who could blame them.

Yet still the Giants get air time....
