| Now the World Cup is done and dusted the start if the 2014 season doesn't look so far away, some teams will be starting their pre season fixtures in a months time.

| Difficult to call Saints' first choice, this is Nathan Brown after all, but I'd go:
1 Lomax
2 Makinson
3 Turner
4 Percival
5 Swift
6 Hohaia
7 Walsh
8 Amor
9 Roby
10 Laffranchi
11 Manu
12 Soliola
13 Wilkin
14 Masoe
15 LMS
16 Walmsley
17 Jones
I think we have a powerful pack with genuine bench impact in Masoe/Walmsley, good pace in the backs, a very good organising/kicking 7 and some decent depth thereafter in the likes of:
Backs: Wellens/Wheeler/Gardner/Dawson
Forwards: Clough/Flanagan/Beaumont/Greenwood/Walker/Richards/Thompson
I fancy us to be a genuine trophy threat this year.

Still looking strong despite losing Briers/Hodgson/Morley/Carvell etc. and it'll be interesting to see if Ratchford and Russell can make the step up.

| Not sure, depends if the Doctor has finished trying to buy the world or not.
Unfortunately number six seems to be going to one Mr Chase of spurious English roots.
Expecting off-the cuff/maverick/not on the same wavelength has his team mates type of rugby.

| I think the way that the squad numbers have gone suggests Sandercock will go with something like:
1. Greg Eden
2. Ben Cockayne
3. Kris Welham
4. Sean Gleeson
5. Dave Hodgson
6. Travis Burns
7. Kris Keating
8. Justin Poore
9. Josh Hodgson
10. Michael Weyman
11. Kevin Larroyer
12. Neville Costigan
13. Jamie Langley
14. Adam Walker
15. Graham Horne
16. Jason Netherton
17. Jonny Walker
Although likelihood is that Keal Carlile will be on the bench instead of 1 of the above as rotation hooker. A lack of recognised goalkicker is a bit of a concern.

Is Richard Horne not playing this year? Can you lend him to Wakefield for a bit, he'd fit nicely in our 7 spot.
