| I've seen most of the teams do their Haka live at the 2008 WC or at other games, and i'd say the Cook Islands have easily the best Haka, but the most impressive pre game ritual goes to the Fiji prayer/hymn IMO.
The Cooks haka involves the whole squad including training staff and seems to re-enact something similar to the Normandy invasion including boat rowing and a battle scene. Seems a shame to stop it for a game by the time they finish.

| Well personally I hate it. Don't understand why the pacific Islanders get to do a outdated tribal dance and we can't reply with anything. I was glad when we turned our back on it in 2008.

| A bit of Morris or Maypole dancing will really strike fear into England's opponents.

What? We, as a nation, don't have anything like this therefore we should ban everyone else from doing it? Give over.

| I like Kapa O Pango provided they do the throat slit but the RU version of Ka Mate is best.
Quite like the Samoan Sive Tau as a war dance

Why don't we reply with a full on team display of Gangham Style?

| Just to be clear, the Hakas are nothing to do with Rugby Union. They are traditional to teh countries, and there are various types.
A couple of years ago the Kiwis said the traditional New Zealand Haka is actually a victory dance and wasn't really appropriate for a prematch Haka
Either way, I think it is a great traditiona nd has added extra colour and excitement to the world cup.

| I cannot find details at the moment, but the Aussies did a variation of the Haka in the early years of the last century. Bring it back!

I remember seeing that. It might have been on a history of rugby video or something.
