| Did anyone see Slater leading with the foot as he took a high ball and Cronk's disallowed try today?
In my opinion Slater should be banned as its dangerous and if not banned I can see full backs doing it more often to protect themselves. It's very dangerous and there is no need for it, football don't allow players to lead with their feet up high.
I thought Cronk's disallowed try for obstruction was a shocking decision, it had no effect on the move and is going too far. It should only be penalised when a player has prevented the opposition from defending a play.

| Mid air tackles are even more dangerous. A player taking a ball in mid air in defence cannot be touched by a chasing player unless they are contesting the ball. I wouldn't blame a fullback (or anyone) from trying to prevent being hit in such a way when they are so vulnerable.

| I agreed with the referee, it's kind of like leading with an elbow into a tackle.
Their obstruction rule is daft, over there if a dummy runner goes into a defending player regardless of the ball position it's obstruction
Another "interpretation" I hate is not stopping the clock once the ball is dead, Melbourne are the worst team for it, every scrum, drop out or penalty Cronk comes over and tells Smith what he should be doing
