Having been to 3 Grand Finals where my team was the losing one, I can say that I'd actually rather lose in the semi final. It's a grim feeling.

Personally I would rather be in the final, nothing worse than losing a semi then not having the chance for the title. Now if I was to experience 5 losses on the bounce I may have a different opinion
