| Interesting to see Sam Burgess starting and Luke back soon on an extended bench.
Also to see Justin Hunt making an NRL debut on the wing!!! He is a good 5/8th and is carving it up in the NSW Cup for the Bears, which is ironically where I used to work with him about three seasons ago. Good luck swiney.

| Not sure about George. He's been going good in the reserves and when they put him in U20s for a couple of games he smashed it and went straight back up.
He was banned for a couple of weeks after getting sent off against Manly in NSW Cup.
You will see Sam moving between back and front row I would suggest as the game goes on.

| If Hunt carries on his nsw form he could easily end up at 5/8 in a few games, Sam to front row, Crocker to 2nd row and Sutton to lock.
Things look promising.

| I never understood why Sam Burgess signed for Souths. He was offered a deal by Manly at the same time.
I guess it may have been the hollywood influence and probably more dosh.
Maybe it was the challenge of improving a naffer side than the ones that went on to win a premiership.

| Hunt was superb on debut and Reynolds deserved his mom.
Sutton was poor again though.

I hope Hunty gets a shot at five-eighth one day.
James Maloney was playing for Norths in 2006 in Flegg and then a handful of games in Premier League as it was called then. He was signed by Parra and was Brett FInch's understudy. He left and went to the Storm only for them to sign Brett FInch there!!! He played 4 games at the storm thanks to Origin and went to the Warriors to play regular first grade. ie it took 5 seasons to get a spot. I hope Hunty gets a shout, he's been to Parra, Balmain, Norths up to QLD and now Souths. Goes to show what you can achieve with persistence and a good attitude.
Nice to see his dad get mentioned. He played at Leeds when his good mate Eric Grothe went over there.

| Souths already have 22 sorted for next season believe it or not and will probably only sign 1 more.
Corrigan will go. Talanoa might.

| Sheldon may know.
But if they retain Geddes, it would be to their advantage as he'll become a "veteran" player and 100k will come off their cap. ie. If he got 150k, they only need to put 50k on the cap.
