Which player do you think came over here did ok/half decent, only to go back and be at the top of their game and make you think wow why not do that for us?
My personal one is Glenn Hall for the Cowboys and had two mediocre seasons at Bradford, regularly playes for NQC and high up on stats too. Also Fulton was pretty bad for Hudds, again he is a regular for Wests Tigers.

Greg Bird has been nothing short of awesome this season he was average at best for the dragons

Bird was awesome for the Dragons, helped them to within a game of the Grand Final IIRC.

I agree about Best though, amazed he's still playing over there.

Fulton would be my choice, never rated him at Huddersfield but plays well for Wests.

David Kidwell was sheeite for us but good over there. Jamie Lyon.

In the 2009 playoffs Bird almost singlehandedly dragged Catalans to the grand final until Kevin Walters crazily substituted him in the semi-final while he was schooling Leeds.

greg bird was good over here but has improved since hes gone back to the NRL. i thought colin best was the best in the NRL earlier this season.

But the best of them all has to be feleti mateo for the new zealand warriors.

besty did more than ok for us when he was here - for 2 seasons he was excellent. when he went back to aus he was switched from wing to centre. at hull he played every game on the right wing outside the likes of richie barnett

Players like Fulton and Hall are honest good grafters, when sl clubs sign overseas players we expect something else.

Tonie Carroll made a better loose forward for the Broncos than he was a centre in his time for Leeds. Jamie Lyon is ageing like a good wine - a joy to watch.

Colin Best probably. Byron Ford worth a shout as after he left us he signed a 2 year deal with Sydney (i think, could be Newcastle)....and then proceeded to get banned for drugs.
