| The Premier Sports deal expires at the end of this season. Does anyone have any information on who might be in the running for the next set of rights?
Also why do the Sunday games overlap? I assume it is to do with time zones, however in the US where the difference can be up to 3 hours, the NFL (only comparison in terms of fixtures) maintains natural double-headers.

As far as I understand ,Although there are teams spread over the entire USA they play most of thier games in small divisions that are in the same geographical areas (still large distances but regional). The games in Aus are screened in the state live with the other game sreened in full after the live game.
I don't know who will get the NRL rights but I do hope Premier sports get it as I dont think SKY would put on 150 games a season with + replays. they also do a great coverage of the Championship.

All the games have set kick off times too (6pm, 9:!5pm, 1:30amGMT), sometimes you get some overlap if the early game over runs.

| Nothing to do with time zones.
There's a 2pm game (shown live on pay tv) and a 3pm game (shown delayed on fta @ 4pm).
I wouldn't expect any announcements till later on in the year.

| Premier sports is hurting championships, They take your best home games and play them on a Thursday night - nothing wrong with that at all - but you get nothing, thats right zip, zilch for the privilage. That's before you factor in part time players losing pay from work due to travel etc on a work day.

| Clubs sponsors will be happy though. Hopefully featured clubs find it easier to get sponsors with tv coverage.

| I think sky would like it but don't have a window. Sky show super rugby Saturday and Sunday mornings. ESPN would be great but again they show live AFL so do not have the window.
