He has done a reasonable job in Oz but most fans are glad to see him move on.

Like I say, much maligned and tarred by his association with News Ltd. However, he does know the game inside out and led the game out of one of its most damaging times to a point of all time popularity. Knows the importance of the grass roots of the game too which is something the current mob only pay lip service to. Also knows how to attract sponsors to the game. Clever guy but likely too expensive for the English game. If not, personally I'd take the gamble and give him a shot.

He should not be too expensive, its a critical position that can make or break the game.
