This series is right up there along with Hayden's coming of age in India as my favourite series I've watched. Absolutely amazing wins in each game, can only question how things would've turned out if not for Morley's send off...

The series where the British ref was worried about being accused of bias, so overcompensated. And the Aussie ref didn't care about being accused of bias, so was biased.

I was helping to place and then collect the pre match fireworks boxes from the pitch, we then thought to grab a quick pint as nothing much would happen.

Came back to the Aussie bench that we were sitting next to all celebrating. For most of the match they then went into a worried state, which was great to see.

Couldn't even beat their 3rd string in a single game. Kimmorley wasn't in the initial squad and ended up getting man of the series.

Bloody hell I used to love a Great Britain v Australia Ashes series. It was the pinnacle of our game. Bigger than the World Cup in my opinion.

Agreed. 1994 and 2001 were my favourites.
