Can someone explain to me why they aren't also used to help the other nations ie France, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
To bring those Countries up to speed. The RFL wants tougher tests well send the Exiles to them as well and it'll happen

those sides should be playing each other to develop 1st, the exiles would be far too strong for them at present.

I think the RFL can only help those countries so much, they have to help themselves more. You can't force other countries to like RL as much as Eng/Aus/NZ do. I always thought its a shame that South Africa, who have very strong Union and Cricket teams have never matched that in League, can't the Aussies and NZ help them like we've tried over here with the Welsh and French?

Regarding the talent and coaching bit, i think we do have the talent but i've been of the impression that coaching wise now for a few years we are trying to copy the Australian way of play. We are never going to beat Australia by trying to copy them and in the process play matches in a style they're comfortable with, we have to drag them out of their comfort zones and play a style they aren't use to facing.

We have Aussie coaches at most clubs and when we had an Aussie in charge of the national team we were equally rubbish

How are you going to do that?
Play a style that Australians can not cope with? you would get a Coaches spot in the NRL.
I do not agree with copying Australian style but most of the Australian Coaches in SL are nowhere near top shelf, if they were they would be in the NRL.
Whos is the best Australian Coach that has Coached in England that has coached consistently well in the NRL as a first grade Coach?

You're right, but the Aussie coaches are only a reflection of the aussie players that we have. A sweeping statement but not real first grade I suppose

But we've seen top Aussie coaches come over and achieve naff all, so what's your point?

Super League has attracted in the Main (not all but the majority)
Failed/Sacked Coaches
Assistant NRL Coaches
Apprentice Australian Coaches serving time in England and building a resume.

List the Coaches and which category they fit into its not hard.
Daniel Anderson was probably the exception but he fell on his sword with the Auckland Warriors before he was marched, he returned to the NRL only to be sacked by Parramatta of all clubs, then appointed as "Exiles" Coach.
The name Exiles says it all. It makes no sense whatsoever, "The Outcasts" would have been more accurate.
