Anyone seen a Stobart Lorry ? I live in Wakey, where there is a huge Stobart depot, but still haven't seen one of the promotional vehicles, apart from at the Widnes game on the opening night.

I saw one one on the M25 last Friday - looked good!

I saw four last Friday heading down the M6 near Stafford. The Catalan, Widnes, Huddersfield and Hull KR. My mate says they are always in the co op warehouse in st helens regular

I saw one on the M6 from Woolston Grange, almost crashed my car looking at it. It's fair to say they are as rare as yeti droppings.

In the past two weeks I've seen a London one on the M62 at Whitley and Jon Wilkin moaning his way down the M62 near Halifax; whatever message they are meant to convey is lost when you're zipping past at 70ish on a busy motorway.

and there is the point that the RFL seems to have missed. It is OK for RL fans to be spotting them, but 99% of drivers wont have the awareness of mind to spot the truck, realise it has a message, read the message and compute it before they have shot past it and it is a distant memory.

Not just the RFL the SL clubs also. The biggest beneficiaries of this are Stobbart they got an excellent deal. Do these Stobbart SL vehicles only only drive on the opposite side of the motorway to which all other vehicles travel, not stop at traffic lights, never encounter any traffic jams, manage to get to their destinations without leaving the motorway?

I drive up the A1 and across the M62 from Donny to Leeds from Monday to Friday and haven't seen any at all.

Ive said it on another forum. From my desk I have a good view of the M62, and a large petrol garage. I must see 10-20 a day. I havent seen a single one with the SL advertising on it.

You've more chance of spotting Lord Lucan.
