Maybe it is just me but the rainbow thing in the bottom left corner of the screen that is displayed every time the tackle count changes is really annoying me. It distracts my eyes all the time from what is actually going on. Although, maybe it is an attempt by sky to distract criticism away from the poor standard of commentary?

It annoyed me as well. A rainbow flashing up on the screen after every tackle!! Hadnt noticed it on earlier sky games though ...

Thought it was something to do with the internet site was watching it through, yes very annoying. And what are the flashing lights that appear above the team names??

Flashing lights show how many interchanges left.

Just looked at the world club challenge to see if the annoying rainbow has been present all the time, and the transition is still there between tackle counts but there's no ridiculous rainbow.

At first I thought it was a lens flare but then once you see it, it's really, really annoying.
I can't understand how they possibly think this is a good idea.

It's hugely distracting and unnecessary. I thought I was having a migraine or a stroke, until I realised it was meant to be there.

Why do they (and Cullen last night) try to guess what the ref is going to do and what he has and hasn't seen when, if they stop banging on we would all be able to hear what the ref and then TJ is saying. We could then hear what he actually says to the player rather than Stevo guessing!

The interchange indicator is useful but the flashing colours relating to tackles/metres made is a pain in the backside.
