| Hi all, I've recently been coaching Rugby League to a group of 14 to 19 year old kids with learning disabilities and after their first couple of sessions a few were really excited about the game and asked if there were any clubs they could go to, I've looked around and can't find anything that is suitable so it got me thinking about setting up a training camp or clubs type thing for people with learning disabilities. My idea is to take touch or tag rugby and modify it to suit.
I'm just wondering if you guys think it could take off and possible give me some input or help getting some support behind it? My friend spoke to a Championship club coach and he seemed excited to get the club involved but got to wait for them to confirm.
I'm personally excited by this project and hope it can take off as I know there are a lot of disabled fans who I'm hoping will want to play as well as support the game we all love.
thanks for reading,
Craig

Hi Craig
Danny Wilson from the Hull FC Foundation has already organised a 12 week programme of Wheelchair rugby at our new Rugby League Acadamy, Sirius Acadamy last season. I am sure if you would be in touch with him he could offer some advice for you.

| I'm sure there would be a good call for this. I spent years trying to find something like this for my son but to no avail. Sadly we live abroad now but he'd have been there with bells on.
What area are you looking to set this up?

| We are looking to start in Keighley then if there's enough interest expand to bradford then through out West Yorkshire, we are also thinking of setting it up as a charity to keep it free and gain more interest.
