If he does take the assistant job at Manly it says everything about Parish. Unambitious, scared of a challenge and very unprofessional and disloyal. He clearly had issues with how things were done at Salford, but most coaches having accepted the role would see improving things as a challenge, rather than run away from it at the first hint of a problem.

Parish himself seemed quite rude and opinionated, so I don't think Salford are missing out on anything great.

Being a Red for the past 30 years ill be gutted for matt to leave us.He was a breath of fresh air especially with his outspoken comments.Thats whats needed at my club because we have a chairman who simply has failed in his 30 year tenure at salford.Matt opened the jar and found a tin of worms festering and i wouldnt blame him for walking and if he did decide to walk .who would want to come to a club where an a55hole like steve simms decides who your signing with no hardly no money to spend.
