| More interesting is the official partnership between the clubs. Saracens and Wigan have obviously hit it off so well they are going to be official bed-partners.
Is that just code for 'We've got first dibs on Sam Tomkins after the 4N'?

The press release by Wigan will probably confirm more. Doesn't seem the best of moves for now though, but IL is shrewd and wouldn't do anything that doesn't benefit Wigan at all.

| Will there be a candle-lit vigil in Wiggin tonight? Perhaps a sleep-in outside Red Hall, a la St Paul's?

My guess is that initially it'll be about feeding Wiganers who don't make the Wigan RL grade to Saracens. That would rob the RL game of lots of players - think of some of the Wiganers who have starred in SL and not been wanted / signed by Wigan. Later it will about training on each others patch and Saracens enticing top players. What will Wigan get out of it? Maybe the chance to put their replica shirt in the Saracens club shop - might sell 3 per year. A fair price for destabilising the whole of RL?

| On a more positive note, maybe its about feeding players to Saracens with a view to them starting an RL club? Mr Wray may have noticed the number of people who attended Wembley on Saturday from the SE and decided they could tap into that market with an RL club sharing facilities with the RU club?

Surely not, given Harlequins failed miserably just a couple of months ago?

| Wigan fans should be up in arms about this. The club should be bombarded with phone calls asking for a personal explanation from Leneghan. It's unquestionable that this will benefit Saracens. Better access to arguably one of the best RL production lines. They'll be able to identify the stars even earlier than they can now and have access to tapping them up through the masquerade of them 'exchanging knowledge'.
What do Wigan get out of it exactly?

Fair enough. Quins fans do know him pretty well after all.
