Does anybody know whether he picked up a winners medal or losers medal at the game? had he already played for leeds in an earlier round or wigan? Im guessing he's the first player to have played for both finalists in the same year?

I believe he played for Liverpool a few years ago, but got bored of football so went down south and was never heard from again.

Not undeserved at all. Spoke to him twice since he joined and he says he loves the club and is gutted he can't stay for longer. Gets on with all the players and has lifted the spirits of the club and has increased the competition for places. Also given his all in all his games.

Not sure if he'll get any, dont they have to play a certain number of games to be included? Or is that just wendyball I'm thinking of.

In football you have to appear (even for 1 second) in 10 out of 38 games to be awarded a Prem winners medal, though you can get dispensation for injuries / Goal Keepers playing a few etc.

Not sure how it works in cup ties, sone you get say 25 medals to give out, others think you just have to feature in comp.

in 2005 fc v leeds, shaun briscoe never play in the final got rush into hospital day b4 the final and i think he got a winners medal cos u play in the early rounds
