If there was a 10 team Super League Clubs shouldn't have any overseas players what so ever in their squads.

Don't get that arguement. So if a big name player like Benji Marshall or Billy Slater wanted to come and play for, say Wiggin, they couldn't? Can't see what good that does the competition.

There is no chance what so ever of Benji or Billy playing in Super League for many years, if at all. We have a situation now in Super League where players who haven't played a single game in the NRL can come and play Super League straight away like Ryan Tongia did this past weekend for Wakey. A vast majority of imports bring nothing to the British game, surely a better long term bet would be to give British talent a chance, which some clubs seem very reluctant to do always looking for the easy option of importing an overseas player, and then looking to see if they can get him off the overseas quota stopping the progress of British talent.

OK so why not change the rules so players have to have played a certain number of NRL games or rep games or whatever. I don't see the point of effectively banning players like Jamie Lyon, Greg Bird or Danny Buderus from coming over here and enhancing the comp

The whole reducing to 10 teams idea is ludicrous, look at the SPL.

Until we have enough players to fill those elite clubs, 10 clubs is nowhere near as ludicrous as 14 clubs.
