Hope so.It's a bit strange cos our pitch is really good and better than most.

The LSV pitch is 50% artificial. Quite a few premiership clubs have the same.

Think its going to be the same as the Leigh East pitch. Dont think the LSV has rubber balls on it.

Fantastic idea, we all like fast flowing games and the new pitch will aid in that.

Im made up. Whether it will give us an advantage or not im not sure but to show we have someone in charge who cares and has a spare 500 grand to spend on us, im pleased.

Main advantage has got to be actually being able to train on our own pitch.

As it is now the team are part time and only allowed to train on the pitch on Saturday mornings.

Going full time and needing everyday use and sometimes more with other sides using the stadium it makes sense.

The present pitch is in quite good nick but the use has to be limited on it. It does have problems in the winter months with the build of the stadium causing long periods of frozen patches in front of the south stand that take an age to thaw out and it has resulted in postponements previously. It wouldn't cope with being trained on and then use by others.

We don't have a training facility as yet although that to looks like it is on its way. As a result in the winter months when they haven't been able to find suitable training venues the team have had to go out of town or even this year using one of Stobarts free warehouses to train inside.

Will be great for the start of the season when Wigan and Leeds are like mud baths.

exactly the same pitch as they have at Huddersfield and Old Trafford and almost anywhere else where a good surface is required.
