| We shouldnt give up on the place. They've not gone bankrupt. You never know in 3 seasons time they might come back much stronger imo like Widnes did.

Oh they have and Wrexham FC are going down with them and that is the main reason the best hope is a merger with Scorpions and the new club to be in the Championship but the current owners will be long gone laughing all the way to the bank.

| Geez, I'd like to think people would still watch their national team regardless of what happens at club level. Then again this is rugby league.

Your right Dico I don't think that we should give up on them but they should get no special help like they and other expension clubs have had with number of overseas players and salery cap exemptions. The must now do it like the rest of us have to. The Crusaders fans will be more than welcome at the LSV.

| When Cas got relegated did all of the Cas fans decide not to attend any internationals in Leeds? When the England vs France game was held at Leigh sports village I assume nobody from Leigh attended.

| Why would the Welsh come out in numbers to watch a National team made up of English rejects?
They need Welsh clubs to provide Welsh players. l hope the Crusaders will survive along with the Scorpions, and valley Cougers get into C1,
lf we carn,t make it in Wales, theres no hope outside the M62 corridor,
l think this is a sad day for RL, hope l,m wrong

As I have said for a long time.
[sizeRUGBY LEAGUE IS NOT POPULAR IN WALES.[/size
Union is the only sport that counts there.
People should have worked it out by now. 2 failed expansion attempts. It's never going to happen.

The OP thinks there is a strong correlation between Crusaders not being in SL next season and not being able to sell tickets for a Welsh international match. Fact remains it would have little bearing if anything more people may turn up.

Which is why the two football clubs in the two biggest cities in Wales comprehensively outdraw the respective rugby union teams. Yeah, some Union stronghold.
League can strive in Wales, but it needs to be a longterm project. What good does 3 years do for anyone?

Which Welsh Premiership football sides attract more than a few hundred ? Cardiff and Swansea have traditionally been football cities, outside of there in south Wales it is dominated by rugby union. North Wales has no elite level RU presence and no football club of note, mid Wales too sply populated to really count.
Rugby is a large part of the Welsh character football is not.

So why the sly dig at Leigh fans? I think most people on the VT have a problem with a certain Leigh fan then tar us all with the same brush.
