Rugby League returns to the City of Manchester this summer at Mancunians RL, and the club is pleased to announce the addition of a Women's team in 2011.

If anybody in the Manchester area fancies getting involved, men and women both train on Thursday nights from 7pm at Broughton Park, M21 7TL.

Mancunians RL is committed to development of rugby league and welcomes anyone interested in the game to get involved, regardless of experience.

Great news this is. Love hearing about community clubs going well especially in my club's (Salford) catchment area. Know SCR's community bods do some great work spreading RL in Manchester and more recently Trafford.

Might even get down and watch a couple of games myself this year, so will have a gander at website for fixtures - will have to overcome my usual allergic reaction to crossing into a union club though. But RL, sun and beer should be pull enough! Hope you guys get a good deal and dont just fill their coffers.
