damn, shame as he still doesn't look totally right following his off season injury. You have to wonder if these young forwards are coming into 1st grade too early these days. Used to be props started 1st grade at 23-24 and were considered "in their prime" at 28. Now they are hitting 1st grade at 19-20. Makes you wonder if their bodies are up to it and how much shorter their careers may be.

He was playing well before the injury yesterday too. Im with you though JB. Sams been in FG since he was 18 and has never held back in a collision. I know yesterday was nothing to do with his shoulders and could have happened to anyone at any age, but for longevities sake, i'd try to stop him making as many big hits as he does as he wont make 28 at this rate.

Think he should get the results from a scan today. Worst news could be he needs surgery and he'll be out for 3 or 4 months. Gutted for him, we'll definitely miss him in the side.

Lucky to have had him back when we did after his shoulder injury. Just hope the other guys start pulling their socks up and get their baksides into gear now!  |

The MRI scan proved inconclusive so he's had it cleaned out and it will be looked at when the swelling goes down.
Best case he's out for 6 weeks.
