How do Leeds get away with it game after game

Leeds forward passing in televised games has long since gone past embarassing.

Funny how the commentators explain that the video ref can't adjudicate a forward pass cos camera angles can be misleading, then proceed to say 'but that was definitely forward'

Cameras caught Webb with the sly swinging arm on Elima as he scored as well, no need for it.

Will video refs ever be able to judge on forward passes? I mean if it's 50/50 let them have a try but obvious forward passes makes our game look very silly when the word try pops up on screen and everyone knows it's not.

I dont see how they cant use the video ref for forward passes. In the nfl they can put a computerised straight line across the pitch for the first down marker so surely they could do the same at sky. E.g put a yellow line when the ball leaves the hands of the player passing the ball play the video until the next player catchs the ball and put a red line there across the pitch. Easy to see if its forward or not.

I understand they dont want to slow the game down by going to video ref all the time but something has to be done as its really getting out of hand lately.

The only problem would be the refs interpretation of how far back in play they go back with the video in the whole build up to the try?

I find it funny they say they can't rule on forward passes yet they can for offside Isn't the catcher of a forward pass in an offside position? (and dont start with all that $hite about the ball travelling forward in relation to the ground.....if it heads towards your own posts it's forward)

Its the whole point that if you throw a ball when running it won't neccasarily go backwards from where it was thrown even though you have thrown it backwards.
