| Going Dogs this week
Rabbits didnt show me too much last week to suggest they can score enough against a team with a good defence. Yes, they came back in the 2nd half but the Chooks were awful. In the 1st half when the Roosters looked a decent team Souths didnt have a clue. I also think our pack will match them and with us having the better halves we will create more out wide.
Doggies 32-12
edit: OK I think I have got carried away a bit It will be closer than what I said above and i'm going...
Doggies 26-16

souths are a very good side, they cant be as bad as they were last week, 2 weeks in a row
dogs were very good but backing up after a tough monday night encounter and souths deserparate to prove they arent chokers, im going with them in a close one ...
should be a big crowd as both share the ground as their home base

| I think the Dogs will win this one in a high scoring game. It's a shame Josh Morris is out for about 6 weeks, he played well against the Tigers and would of been a good shout for Origin this year IMO.
Souths need to find some consistency, i dont think they will under John Lang. You dont know what Souths side is gonna show up. Their defence last week was simply shocking, Roosters were walking through them at will.

| good game
some dropped balls but end to end stuff
souths desperately unlucky with the sin binning of wesser when he made a try saving tackle on turner harsh, from the penalty the dogs scored
idris was the star here outplaying GI, bumping him off a couple of times
when souths can use their LHS attack with inglis and taylor together they will be lethal but now its haphazard

| What a dumb play by Wesser, basically handed the game to the Doggies by getting himself binned.

| Poor game really, from a souths point of view.
Only playing with two pivots, shut them down and souths can't go forward.
Luke playing 80mins, his games suffering through this, his impact has gone.
Sutton not passing to Inglis.
Sutton and Sandow being the dumbest halfs in world Rugby.
Otherwise I had a great day, met Mario outside the ground and Morris and Stagg in the food line.

| Souths need a new coach. Good players dont make a good team and that's what Souths are, great players but poor in a team. The coach makes them into a good team. Look at Bennett at the Dragons, couldn't do a thing with Browny yet Bennett comes in, losses or gets rid of Gasnier and Ryles who were both Test and Origin players and they hardly ever lose.
Souths should be up there with the best but they wont be until they get a top coach.

| Had a massively busy weekend and my Sky box decided not to record the game so had to wait until this morning to watch (and stayed away from the result). Wasnt far off was I?
As for the game I thought the 1st half was sloppy as. Too many penalties and too many errors from both teams. I never thought we were going to lose though and they got on a roll from an error from Brett Suttor (jeez, I hate that guy) that gave them possesion when we should have been driving ip the field. Seriously, how can you call held in that situation! Anyway, it ended well and its 2 from 2 against 2 teams who were tipped to be up there at the end of the year.
Go Dogs!
