I cant see it happening, no chance.
There's about 10 NRL teams that would throw the chequebook at him if he did become available, i think he's on a long term contract anyway and he's only just started getting in the QLD team from the bench aswell as being the Test halfback when Thurston is injured.
I cant see him giving that up to join a SL club when he can probably earn pretty much the same from staying over there but you can never say never so wait and see.
Have you seen the rate at the moment? There arent going to be many stars coming to these shores in the near future because it would mean they would have to take a massive pay cut. A few years ago if they took a job over here on say £100k that would have been worth $240k to them. The same job now is only worth $150k to them. The likes of Sam Burgess who went the other way will be laughing because every Dollar used to be worth 40p... Now its worth 60p. That extra 50% in a decent contract will go a long way if they ever decide to come back.
