| Wildcats extend ‘A Tenner for Ten Thousand’!
Since the announcement of our fantastic half price ticket offer for Sunday’s home clash at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium against Salford, ticket sales have roared and the Wildcats Superstore has never been as busy.
Due to this high demand Wildcats Chairman Andrew Glover has now extended the offer. Fans can now purchase the super saver tickets up until kick off on Sunday. Andrew wants as many of our loyal supporters as possible to be able to take advantage of these prices and has therefore allowed the half price tickets to be purchased on match day so that no one misses out. The club still strongly advises fans to pre purchase their tickets due to such a large number already being sold and seats becoming very limited.
With the aim of getting as many fans down to the ground as possible the tickets have been reduced by a massive 50% with adults being able to purchase ground standing tickets for just £10 and concessions for just £6. After this weekends uplifting win and the takeover of the Club by Andrew Glover, Wildcats supporters should flock to The Rapid Solicitors Stadium to get behind their team and join us for the start of an exciting new era.
New Wakefield Wildcats Chairman Andrew Glover will be paying the difference in price back to the club and has agreed to refund the difference, as either a £10 cash payment or a £15 Wildcats Superstore credit note for any supporter that has already purchased their ticket for the Salford game before this super saver offer was created.
There has been no better time to get behind the Wakefield Wildcats. If you are a member why not bring your ‘friend for free’? The Wildcats want to start their home fixtures off in style and see the stadium filled to capacity! Tickets are available for fans to purchase in the Wildcats Superstore on Doncaster Road. by calling 0844 4140665 or online by simply clicking here. Don’t miss out on this fantastic offer, buy your tickets now, let’s see as many people on Sunday as possible!
This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.

Indeed, you would hope some other clubs follow suit as well. On this note, I've actually found ticket prices this year and last year being a bit pricey and they have inflated quite rapidly over the years, 18-19 quid now for Adult? Used to be 10, 11 12 quid only a few years ago.. guess it has to be in line with the current economy and all that jazz!

It's £20 at Castleford on the gate for adults which I think is too much.

Same at Salford which quite frankly is horrendous given the dross we've served up!

I might be wrong, but hasn't one of the Wakefield directors said he would contribute £10 for every ticket sold, making it up to £20. If this is the case I can't see it happening for many games. Still, it is a great initiative to get their home season off to a well-attended start.

| John, Andrew Glover said for anyone who purchased a ticket prior to the £10 offer, he would refund the difference or give them a voucher worth £15 to be used in the club shop.

Hopefully for wakey, the staff will push the vouchers over the refund.

The director might have been better served just making up the amount of gate money taken to the average, rather than giving a specific £10 per ticket. Seeing as (pretty certainly) more tickets are going to be sold it wouldn't cost as much (might cost nothing, with luck) and he would certainly be able to continue doing it for longer.

We're coming to make some noise!: |
|
| VAT increases, running cost increases (Rent, Gas, Water, Electric, Business Rates), players salaries, general staff salaries and debts all need paying and £10 per person every other week for 8mths of the year certainly won't do it.
In fact £20 per person won't do it but a one off may just rekindle some support for Wakey and up the average attendance over the course of this year and some may purchase season passes for next year.
