the programme from MM. Included was the Pocket guide to 2011 superleague on pages 61 to 65 there are 4 pages of refereeing signals illustrated by Ben Thaler absolutely hilarious. Have a look at nos 11 to 13 . I have not seen those signals for about 20 years.

What about the signals we regularly see but are not included like the


Thierry Ailbert arms waving wildly which means i know what the player did wrong but have forgot the signal.

Steve ganson index fingers outstretched pointing outwards then brought firmly back towards his chest repeted three times this means look at me ( usually seen at televised games)

or the

James child one finger followed by 10 fingers which means i know it is your first offence but you have 10 mins in the bin because that is what Staurt has said we are to do this week.

Are there any i have missed.

The red card yellow card got me, seems to be stating the obvious without telling new fans (if any went) what they mean.

The prop strikes for ball in scrum signal should be used a lot more since it happens in lots of games

You must be watching a different game to me then because the ball usually goes in between the props and the second row.

And half the time the opposition prop is attempting to strike at the ball, often while it's still in the scrum half's hands.

I would like a new signal to be introduced. The signal is both hands in a grip position, arms held out and moving up and down alternately as if gripping a cows udder. The offence is "milking a penalty" which seems to be happening more often.

Just said this last night, I've not seen half of them used!

Did it show the forward pass actions? The Wigoon and Whinos fans don't see that action as much as they should go against them.
