Fitzpatrick is a legend over here........alas, not a scrap of this story in the NZ press today. Good move by Captain Bartercard if he get's him to join the board though........that will definitely make the papers in Auckland at least 
Very strange lead story........why bother giving it any airing at all? The headline is misleading.....he isn't a current NRL minder, so why use it? And then go on to say it isn't really relevant and no names will/can be printed? |

nah didnt know that at all the soft gets
probably because of all the PI kids and their size advantage over the rest
the only junior RL ive been too was watching my 10 year old cousin a few years back on sundays |

St G have a kid called Evander something or other in SG Ball. I heard his name mentioned on the pitch. Good player, keep an eye out for him. |

That question is about as relevant as if Dan Marino said he wanted to play Soccer, but would it be OK if they changed the shape of the ball just for him.
Union and League share a common origin........then it's a whole different ball game! (on the pitch) |

If someone like Sean Fitzpatrick can get involved in RL in some capacity it has to be good for the game in NZ.
What would the NZ media make of it and surely it would get more people of his ilk involved.
