| What about having an version of the Saxons, touring Australia and NZ and such. The English Lions become the first team, the Lionhearts become the second. Make it a younger British coach of the Lionhearts and an experienced coach as the Lions coach. Let the experienced train the inexperienced through regular matches at home.

| I'd go along with that apart from I'd just call them England and England A.
I believe England Lions is what they call the England A cricket team anyway.

| Fully agree....shame is it won't happen. There is no momentum by the RFL in trying to get England to catch up with the Southern Hemisphere teams, just the same excuses year after year. Would be good to see though...

| There's an England Knights team page on englandrl.com but it doesn't have any info on yet. Wonder what it is.
* Senior Squad
* Talent Development Squad
* England Knights
* England Academy
* England Youth
I don't like 'Lions', that should remain GB's nickname. The Aussie press started using Lions for England this year in headlines. Lionhearts is OK (and in use for amateur England isn't it?).

To answer my own question it seems to be the new England U20 team.

icons077e_files/4864-863FALH-msnicons.jpg How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?:icons077e_files/4864-863FALH-msnicons.jpg |

| I`m all for it as long as we use their officials, you`ve got to let our young guys realise that its not 17 you need to beat when playing the Oz.............
