| Given that they are pushing for a playoff is fine with me. Attendances will rise with progression. Salford's dire away support wouldn't of helped things.

Give them time, Wales is a very Rugby Union orientated part of the world, but i think in time there attendances will grow

| Starting to get a bit worried that we are seeing another Gateshead/Paris effect...where crowds are good to start off with due to promo's and freebies, but by the end of the season the club is struggling to break even.
I hope they secure a playoff spot and this provides a boost to crowds. A strong Welsh side would be an asset to SL.

A welsh side would be a starter.
Hopefully in time we’ll see something that is similar to Harlequins development of the game down in London where we are starting to see more London lads come through.
This seasons written off for Harlequins but I expect them to reach a final in this next decade if they academy work keeps up along with some decent overseas signings.

Yes we do you useless troll.
The last game was held at neath, away from the standard racecourse. It was a terrible crowd, and next week is going to be far worse.
Take out those two games however, and we are still averaging at least 3500 fans a game. That's not too bad considering the up and down season, and the fact that rugby league is new here. It's going to take a while to win over a lot of Pro-Union people down here

| To be fair, salfords travelling fans were quite good today.....600+ in the stand near me.. for a team with nothing to play for, I think thats fairly reasonable to be honest

| Wrexham 2009 = 0 all year
Wrexham today = 2500
Bradford today = 6217
Nuff said, lets throw the club thats increasing their crowd out because an heartlands club has lost double their increase or maybe we should keep the heartlands club in because their ground is so inferior to Wrexham
I could have picked on Salford but their an easy target whilst Wakey must own super league to still be in there but lets keep ignoring the pathetic efforts of heartlands clubs because they get sympathy for location

| Why, if they feel they need to waste their time in Neath, are they doing it when against a local side? Surely it would be better to have their home game against Salford at Wrexham to maximise the crowd and have their Southern games against teams where it is already a stupid distance away like Hull/Hull KR/Quins/Catalans?

have Salford ever taken more than 50 fans anywhere? doubt it'd have made a massive difference to the gate.

Are you sure? two things to note:
There were 300 perhaps 400 fans tops
The only two of the three stands open were either side of the the length of the pitch so how were you in the one near to another considering the stands are opposite? Which one the stands behind the posts did they open for you the Eric Roberts stand or the condemned one?

How sad can you get, setting up an alias to post drivel like this. Out of interest which team do you support?

Wakey are in SL because they have not been relegated unlike your club what were not good enough to stay in. But its not about how good you are, now its about how good your ground is and fortunately for Fax the council have improved your ground for you, hence you coming on here having a go at a team which even while we are having a hard time are still far too good for you hth.
