Right winger sliding in at full pace in the corner with ball in right arm (correctly). Hayne tackles him from behind, picks him up before he slides over the line, onto his back and out of play.

You're right. It was nothing special. Now I think about it, i'd have Tom Briscoe over Jarryd Hayne any day. In fact, after watching the Canterbury v Parra game, i'd rather have Danny Tickle over Hindmarsh too.

sounds similar to K Cunningham in a Challenge Cup game a few years back...always thought itt teh best tackle i ever saw as teh player was effectively over the line when KC got to him, lifted him, turned him and took him out of play...

Fijian who only played for Fiji because the Aussies hadn't picked him. However, he's suddenly playing for the Aussies again (or at least was last year).

It was a good tackle though, to come from that far out and make sure he wrapped the ball and turned the man was awesome, better than Briscoe's in my opinion because of the ground he covered to make the tackle.
