| Ben Barba looks the most exciting of the new breed so far. Like the look of the young Melbourne centre and winger as well.

He'll never be half the player SBW was. But at least he is and forever will be a better player than Dane Laurie, who you told me was definitely the better prospect of the two.

| I've been impressed with Matt Gillet from the Broncos. Great young player and it's only his first season in the NRL. Strong 2nd rower who's got plenty of tries in him, good at breaking the line and a good off-load too.
I've also been impressed with Scott Bolton from the Cowboys, i think it's his second year this season but this year he's a regular starter and i can see him playing for QLD in the next year or two.
There's loads that you could name, Dugan, Coote and Barba look the most exciting. Tolman, Fensom, Joel Thompson, Watts, Norman.

I told NSW fans to pick Jennings and Idris last year as the series was gone with the side they chose for game 1.
I see it is getting closer to fruition.
They still seem to be the point scoring chance most likely from the centre. You need to score some points against Queensland. The Maroons certainly will.

| the nsw selectors can get stuffed if they pick gidley over hayne at fullback

| He would be better than Bird.
Although I dislike helping NSW...
If you want to have a backline with no room and no idea how to set up a proper attacking move, choose Bird at pivot.
