2 recorded games from the NRL, 2 Live from the NRL and the live "Magic" games until 8-0pm Sunday Night.
How can I break this gently to her?
Oh and game dosn't get enough TV coverage, not including the Dewsbury v Leigh game

| How can you be married to someone who's not aware that it's 'magic' televised RL this weekend? Do you not talk or something?

| Was saying on the Wigan board - 6 Live games Saturday back to back. Starting with NRL at 8:30am, finishing 9pm with just 25 mins break at half 12!

| You poor fools obviously chose unwisely.
What you want is a lass who, upon seeing the Sky Sports viewing lists the other night, got a little excited and said, "oooh there's rugby on all weekend! Fab!"

I'm playing RL on Sat pm but apart from that it'll be a bit of recording on the V+ box, NRL on the laptop, a crate (or two) of beer, several bottles of wine (for 'er indoors), a few pizzas and a big session at the gym on Tuesday.

On thread drift:
[quote="tb":24qn1m99]Tough. Conversations develop. It's their nature.[/quote:24qn1m99]
Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
[i:24qn1m99]There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair
with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back![/i:24qn1m99]

To be fair, I doubt my missus would have a clue that it was ‘Magic’ weekend, or even what that means.
To ask a man if he ever talks to his wife is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read on a message board!
Every married man knows that the answer is no - as you can’t possibly get a word in edgeways.
My wife's also in for a nasty shock too.

| Well I am of the fairer sex (!) and I can't wait for this weekends rugby fest to begin!! I believe there is also the added bonus of Trent Barrett featuring in one of the Saturday games! Will just have to juggle the teeny housework jobs into the half time/full time slots. May burn the pizzas though

Or does the shock come when she's planned a nice long weekend of shopping and days out and you're taking her!!

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| Its the other way round in our house. My hubby can't stand RL. Being from Manchester he's a Football fairy. We've been together 10 years, in all that time I have managed to drag him kicking & screaming to only 2 SL games. The first he left before the kick off & the second was Rich Hornes testimonial where he just sat drinking coffee for the whole game, didn't stand up or shout once.
Strangely he will come along and watch my brother play amateur RL.
It drives me mad

4486_1428087820.png Newsnight 13th May 2010: "With the role of Deputy Prime Minister a non-job. Has Nick Clegg gone from King Maker to tea maker????"
I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew

Well I know someone but she's probably only good enough for a one night stand

I presume that you are sharing the driving to and from Murrayfield. You drive there, she drives back. No beer otherwise.
