please, finally? He has been one of Sth's best forwards, and the kid is only 21 ffs! Name me another 21 year old forward in the NRL that is even close to him.

Ellis has been strong as ever and Flannigan is the find of the season so far in the forwards.

That's an odd judgement. Farah was the one with the game winning plays. Ellis does not feature in the leading hitups/metres chart, and while he was equal second highest tackler (with four others), he is the only one of those four to be at the top of the mistackle chart.

Ellis has been great in the NRL, but he was probably outside of the top 5 players on Sunday.

re Ellis, i am guessing you haven't watched any Tigers games? He has been very strong. Again I don't understand what you expect a forward to do. Short of SBW I can't think of one forward that is a game winner. they are there to lay a platform, not to win games.

on a side note the Sth's number 15 in yesterdays game looked very impressive. didn't catch his name.

Andrew Johns never lived up to the "hype" either bar 40 minutes over here. Matt King never lived up to his "hype" either til last season. Ditto Michael Monaghan.
Morley had a poor first year in the NRL then became one of the best once settled.

Give the lad chance to settle in the country, never mind settle playing in a new team with new techniques, set plays and defence structures. You say "finally" like he's been there for a year and was yet to impress.

Lote Tuqiri - How old is he now, 33/34 - He's been there, done it, bought the T-Shirt etc. Not a 21 year old just turned up on the other side of the world for the first time, with a different team for the first time. The words 'get a grip spring to mind'.
