Watched last nights game, and how he can be left to ref at this level is mindboggling. He has been rubbish since day one but that was terrible last night.

He is awful but he is not the worst of a very average and sometimes terrible bunch.

Terry Halibut takes that honour for me.

They have to explain to the thick badly coached/trained players what to do!!! otherwise the players would stand around wondering what to do next!!!

Offside is the touchjudges responsibility now.

Cas were given I think 5 more penalties than Warrington, including one for knocking on.

Warrington were given a penalty for Mathers diving, Snitch being onside and Hudson touching somebodies back, Offside at the kickoff when just a few minutes earlier Briers took a drop out a good 3 metres off the goal line (which is a penalty on the 10) and a try from a clearly offside position + the 2 players not seeing red so it's pretty fair to say Thaler gave Cas a tough time. As for 5 more penalties, all them came at the end when Warrington were time wasting - Warrington got a load of penalties from 10-0 down that got them back into the game.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you know what to do but I doubt if you will.

Serious question, what responsibilities do touch judges have? Other than marking the 10, or putting the flag up for a conversion, they don't really seem to have that much involvment in a game. Is this because the ref tells them what he wants from them before hand or is it not their job to make certain calls?

My team got the result, so I'm happy.

Doesn't take away the fact that Thaler was $hite yesterday.
