| The kiwis would be mad to go for a forward-oriented game, and I'm sure they won't. They'll have seen England's frailties out wide and aim their attack there. The only team that would prefer a 'battle' is England. Only they seem to not be able to draw in the opposition until its too late.

| Interesting Artie Beetson was suggesting a bit of biff was needed from England at HT.

| He is one fat bar steward isn't he. I'm sure he's headed for legend status after one game at the Rhinos and a career full of derision from the fans of all the other clubs.

To be fair to Artie it DID look our only chance at half time.
I don`t he was alone in not expecting our sliding defence to start sliding, or our forwards to get on top which gave the Aussie kickers LESS time to place their kicks, and ours own MORE time to place theirs, nor would he, along with the rest of us, expect our backs, revelling in the extra space gained by the forwards, to take the game to Australia as they did.
I`m sure there was some element of the Aussies losing some intensity, but when the tide had turned there was nothing they could do about it, the great green and golds, best team in the world (sorry NZ), the unbeatable Aussies, were under the cosh and much as they tried later in the game to get back to their earlier dominance they had no answer. Jeez they even looked lost on occasion. Bring on the Kiwis.

simpsons/simp048.gif I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!
Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

This Australian side are very, very good, but they do not like being put under pressure. If you just stand off and let them run they will cut you to peices all day and every day. Get into them and they start to look beatable.

It's an interesting one. Who does the lack of biff benefit? Against the Aussies I would definitely say they do, gives them something to think about rather than just destroying us with fantastic rugby. Not that Engalnd's pack has many Barry Mac types. The Kiwi's always look a bit more frightening in that department though.

Or maybe he will become a legend after another GF final win next sesason and the fans of all the other clubs will be bitter about him.
