How do you rate the players today?

I would go with

briscoe - 7 - nothing wrong and fantastic effort but we still need a more attacking fill back.

Briscoe - 4 - nightmare

smith - 5 - nightmare first half, better when moved to wing

shenton - 7 - excellent defence, didn't get much opportunity in attack

hall - 6 - pretty good but didn't get the chances he gets in sl

mcguire - 2 - needs to be dropped did nothing worthwhile

tompkins - 7 - excellent when given some space on the back of good work from forwards

graham - 6 - some good hits and runs after a slow start

roby - 8 - excellent in defence and looked dangerous when the forwards got on top

Morley - 5 - disappointing and didn't have much impact

peacock - 5 - same as Morley

ellis - 8 - excellent throughout

sinfield - 7 - grew in confidence as match progressed


Crabtree - 8 - I was sceptical of him in the team but he was excellent

burgess - 10 - mom changed the game single handedly

eastmond - 7 - looked good when he got the chances

Westwood - 7 - provided good impact from the bench

Crabtree was easily my MOM. He worked hard, looked eager to make the drives, made good yards with the ball and defended hard. Team picked up both times he came onto the field.

Burgess let his preformence down with 2 or 3 errors which would keep him at about a 7 imo.

Sinfield and Crabtree would get 8's or 9's and be our highest rated players for me.

The likes of S Briscoe, Shenton, Tomkins, Graham, Westwood and Ellis would all get 7's imo.

McGuire gets about a 3 and Smith upped his about 4 in the second half.

Our bench definitely the saving grace today. Thought our left side of Tompkins - Shenton - Hall were excellent in defence. Tompkins looked good in attack too.

Briscoe-5 did ok
Briscoe-5 did well the lad when on
Smith-5 defence was bad but tried hard.
shenton-6 defence solid made a decent break what lead try.
Hall- 6 same has shenton solid in defence.
Mcguire-5 tried hard.
Tompkins-7 never sore him first half but second half said sod it had a real crack at the Ausses he will pinning for another chance at the Ausses.
Morley-3 has not been good enough for 5 years.
9 Roby 5 tried but to many mistakes.
Graham-5 ok
Peacock-3 worst game i have seem this year.
Ellis-9 proved a again he his the best foward in the world.
Sinfeild-7 played his best game for England.

Eastmond 7 when he came on Inglis went missing
Westwood 6 did ok
Burgess-7 did well
Crabtree6 did well right size for the job.
