In summary, HKR are made up of of a few overrated foreigners, a couple of Wigan rejects and a couple of blokes I have never heard of.
Saints by plenty, by miles even!

HKR are about as poor as it gets.
When referring to the atmosphere of the HJ...

| He should discuss this with some of his Saints colleagues, they dont seem as big on expansion as he is.

|
| I'd suggest that the game obviously does have a process for expansion it is following.
They get Catalans in, they fast tracked the Crusaders, they sorted London for the time being, they set standards to form traditional clubs to lift their standards or risk being replaced....

Do you think we should expand superleague into Australia as a seperate entity.........as a magic weekend for instance. Obviously the opportunity to see a highly tuned Cunningham will drag the local supporters in.

| Plenty of contradictions in there. He talks about how clubs need an infrastructure to compete, then he goes on about how Wigan's success "inspired" clubs into financial ruin.

| It's not a load of rubbish, but it isn't anything new or interesting - for example he's backtracked from his more interesting stance when he was promoting a Cumbrian side.
Is the mission statement not exactly what the RFL is currently trying to do, promote the internatonal game, expand out of the North of england to avoid being marginalised, support the traditional clubs by promoting the Championship ...
At the start of the season I agreed with him about the playoffs, now that my team is no way near 6th I think that the 8-team is a good thing, teams below the top 4 are unlikely to make it far, but it still keeps more interest and is a move away from the "closed shop" approach we used to have that bread a two-tier competition and the "big 4".
