Press Release from the NRLTelstra Bigpond has come to the aid of English Rugby League fans who were in danger of missing out on tonight’s Harvey Norman State of Origin match at ANZ Stadium.
International rights holder Setanta announced overnight that it has ceased transmission in England, Wales and Scotland leaving fans without access to live coverage.
Negotiations with Telstra Bigpond today have ensured that those fans will have online access to the match live at no charge.

Thanks for the link. Just checked into Big Pond and watched the two latest NRL news clips The quality is great - though had a couple of 'buffering' delays - quite a lot better picture than I've been used to from the 'delayed' game vidoes via my Aussie Sport monthly sub.
Hope the NRL will either continue with this Big Pond 'free' live feed for SoO 3 or at least enable us to access the game 'live' - with hopefully improved picture quality - via Aussie Sport.
One small 'negative' is that French fans seem to have been 'forgotten' by the NRL unless OrangeTV are showing it!!
Will be interested in seeing how NRL & Telstra deal with the rest of the '09 season......including the Grand Final now they have made available an 'internet' live feed to us the fans of 'the greatest game' in it's true home

Got the same message on all my three PC's......but then tried again via the NRL site......it came up but the quality was very poor so went to Sentanta Ireland....ok
Considering the short time NRL/BigPond had to get the live internet feed-up one must allow then some 'gremlins'...hope they sort it out by the final game
